Cranial Reflexology

Cranial Reflexology Bergman Method is a holistic healing technique that focuses on the stimulation of specific points on the cranium to promote overall health and well-being. The practice is rooted in ancient healing traditions that believe the head is a microcosm of the entire body, with each point on the map of the cranium corresponding to a different organ or system. By applying gentle pressure to these reflex points, Cranial Reflexology aims to release blockages and restore the body’s natural balance.

The principles of Cranial Reflexology are based on the idea that the body has an innate ability to heal itself when given the proper support. By working with the cranial reflex points, practitioners can help to improve circulation, release tension, and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. Cranial Reflexology is often used as a complementary therapy for a variety of conditions, including stress, headaches, and digestive issues.

What To Expect at Your Cranial Reflexology Treatment

After consultation you will recline on the heated treatment couch and be supported with pillows and covered in a blanket, if desired.

The cranial treatment starts with relaxation techniques and palpating the cranial rhythm, which is very gentle and still, before moving through a sequence of reflexology points on the head. The treatment is slow, gentle and includes some massage techniques. It's slow pace and gentle touch provides an hour of quiet and calm in today's fast paced world. It can feel incredibly balancing and relaxing.

At the end of the treatment, I will share any feedback with you, and give you some aftercare recommendations such as specific reflex points or massage techniques that you can work on at home. My aim is for you to leave experiencing a sense of inner calm, a greater sense of wellbeing and feeling relaxed and balanced.

The effects of Cranial Reflexology are cumulative, often changes can be seen after one treatment with more significant changes noticeable after 4-6 treatments and the benefits are increased with regular continued treatments. For babies, we often see improvements within 1-2 sessions.
