Facial Reflexology

Facial Reflexology provides all the health and wellbeing effects of traditional foot or hand reflexology, but with the added benefit of rejuvenating your complexion. This treatment improves circulation, relaxes tense facial muscles and encourages the production of collagen and elastin. You are likely to notice a brighter glow from your very first treatment!

Facial reflexology can induce a deep state of relaxation, encouraging your mind and body to switch out of your sympathetic nervous system (stress response – fight/flight/freeze) and into your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest mode). Due to the proximity of the facial reflex points to the brain and central nervous system the relaxing effects can occur surprisingly quickly.

I specialise in the Bergman Method of Facial Reflexology and completed my training at the London School of Reflexology with Ziggie Bergman herself. Ziggie created this fantastic method of facial reflexology by blending Native American techniques, Asian body maps that chart the reflexes of the face, and reflexology Zone Theory. The result is an incredibly relaxing treatment which delivers all the therapeutic benefits of an holistic therapy with a touch of beautifying luxury.

What To Expect at Your Facial Reflexology Treatment

After consultation, you will recline on the treatment couch. I will gently cleanse and relax the muscles of your face with hot towels before applying a Zone Face Lift Facial Oil or Elixir (all Zone Face Lift facial products used in treatment are also available for clients to purchase on the Shop page).

During the treatment I will use gentle pressure to stimulate different reflex points on the face, I also incorporate a range of massage and natural facelift techniques which help to smooth any wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin.

I work at a much slower, gentler and soothing pace during a facial reflexology treatment, compared to foot reflexology, due to the fragile nature of the skin. As a result, most clients find this treatment incredibly relaxing, and many even drift off to sleep!

At the end of the treatment, I will share my findings with you, and give you some aftercare recommendations such as specific reflex points that you can work on at home. My aim is for you to leave experiencing a sense of inner calm, a greater sense of wellbeing and benefiting from a glowing and rejuvenated complexion.
